A reminder that the New England Patriots plane is flown by Omni air who contracts with ICE to fly people in chains to Africa and Asia several times per week.

this particular line is maybe the best statement of purpose i have seen for those of us who want a more militant opposition to this administration
“Let us be clear: we want the power of the state. We wish to hold the criminals of the regime accountable. We wish to seize back the public funds looted by Trump and his cronies. We wish to undo the damage he has done to the government. More than any of that we wish to rebuild.”
From Powerlessness to Power
We will not achieve any of our ultimate goals without exercising state power, and the most effective way to take state power is through nonviolent but confrontational resistance.

Minneapolis replies: "Hey asshole, you're going to need a bigger fucking database."

lol good luck with your Trump-friendly gerrymander this November, Texas GOP.
This is a 31 point swing, y’all!

Like every state in the nation, Texans hate what the Trump regime is doing — stripping our healthcare, jobs, affordability, education, safety net, and the shredding of our constitution.
And we want brownshirt #ICEoffOurStreets NOW.

On this day in 1865, President Abraham Lincoln signed the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, abolishing slavery and involuntary servitude. National Freedom Day is a moment to reflect on our history and recommit ourselves to advancing freedom, equity, and justice for all.

The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires. "Do you want there to be a class of people so powerful they can fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything" seems like an easy sell if everyone in politics wasn't trying to get on their payroll

I don't like to talk about stories before they are fully reported, but I am writing on ICE in a Minnesota town that isn't Minneapolis. However bad you think it is, it is worse. It is a campaign of pure terror whose only strategic goal is more terror. There is no strategy other than to break people.

The thing that shocks me most is that all of this incriminating stuff was sitting at the DOJ for 4 years and Biden & Garland were not cynical or ruthless enough to use it against Trump & Musk in the run up to 2024.

If only they were the evil ‘weaponizers of government’ that MAGA claimed they were!

You don't win fights you won't fight, or if you fight the wrong fight. Minnesotans are fighting the right fight; absolute non-acceptance of that which is absolutely unacceptable. Democrats in office should honor them by fighting that fight too.

And that's all I got to say about that (for now).
