This but anyone who isn’t a Black woman or Black gender expansive person. No one, and I can factually say this, experiences as much online violence (digital misogynoir) as we do.
I know this is mean and reductive and petty but it pisses me off when I see somebody saying "i've received more online harassment than you can even imagine" and then it's a straight white guy. like, okay, well i doubt it lol

I do really wish I had a better threat model for this admin. This could be "trying to act tough on State Department website to own the woke libs" and amount to nothing, or it could be a signal of a genuine legal and administrative nightmare for like a million people, and there's no way to know
1. The Trump administration has just quietly updated the State Department website to indicate that it may invalidate transgender people's passports.
This comes a week after a SCOTUS ruling blocking lower rulings allowing trans people to update them.
