Is there a better indication of how superficial and unhelpful mainstream media has become than that they are cutely musing about whether the domestic terrorist who changed "The Department of Defense" to "The Department of War" will get a Nobel Peace Prize—instead of reporting the fascism/terrorism.

It would take the average UK earner 52 years’ worth of earnings to join the richest 10%.

Up from 38 years in 2006-08. Rich buy political influence.

Govts help the rich. Bottom 20% pay higher proportion of income in than the richest 20%.

Inequalities obstruct economic growth, fuel social unrest.
Lifetime of earnings not enough for UK workers to join wealthiest 10%, report says
Research finds it would take average worker saving all their earnings for 52 years to match wealth of richest 10th of society

From Donald Trump's Roundtable on Antifa just now —
"Antifa has been around in various iterations for almost 100 years in some instances, going back to the Weimar Republic in Germany."

A reminder that despite promising to nationalise the water industry Starmer dumped that pledge &decided to side with the private companies instead. This is the result

Texas National Guard troops arriving in Chicago (via ABC News)

Remember: These are not MAGA stormtroopers. These are everyday teachers and accountants who signed up to serve their country with their spare time. They're being used as political pawns by venal, un-American, draft-dodging president

IN HONOR OF FRIENDSHIP MONTH:

djt: "We have certain things in common, Jeffrey."

Epstein: "Yes we do, come to think of it."

djt: "A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday- and may every day be another wonderful secret."

And by "wonderful secret", he means raping children.

Guys, every person you see on Fox News in a mask is just Robert O'Neill, retired Navy Seal and occasional Fox News contributor. He's the former Antifa, former Gazan, former gang member. His eyes are very unique.

Don't forget that 41 Tory MPs in the last government took Russian donations. That might account for media reticence to report on the Nathan Gill case.

I hope they realise what they're doing for the sake of being a cog in a genocide machine and go retrain as something useful like a firefighter instead

and if they don't do that I hope some harm befalls them that renders them unable to harm civilians any further

It's cool that we're so brain broken now from US media exposure that the Gardaí deploying chemical weapons on civilians for the crime of "trying to inconvenience some motorists for an hour or two" is seen as normal policing and not something that warrants being hounded into resignations

This matters to everyone

If police admit spying on journalists in Northern Ireland then you can be sure as bears s..t in the woods then trade union and labour/community activists will be scrutinised by nefarious means.
