On the list of harmless things that make steam shoot out of my ears: people saying “no pun intended” in a format in which they’ve had room to edit. If you comment on it in your video essay, guess what? You intended it. Just say “if you’ll pardon the pun” or something

Oh… I feel fine about it but I don’t think it’s as simple as the image suggests. You have to already know how what makes a drawing look lively and volumetric because if you do only look at it as tracing, it will feel subtractive rather than additive.
