absence of a diagnosis does not guarantee the absence of an illness - mamoru - if someone you know has oeen been suffering yet a doctor says nothing is wrong, which has happened to a majority of chronically ill people at some point, you have a choice. you can either believe doctor that you probably never met, or the person suffering. and I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely damaging it is for a sick person to not be believed. the believe

My contribution to the game difficulty debate is I made an SMB3 style platformer with a mode where dying simply pops you back up immediately on a flying cloud and with cheats beyond that

Just like I made a turn-based roguelike with a mode that gives you infinite lives, which also has a cheat menu

Closed captions aren't just some "neat" additional thing to have. In some cases it's the only way many people are able to competently consume media. But fuck those people, am I right? Money is so much more important than people, just like with every other topic or issue in this world.

This shit is why I'm getting less and less work on anime and having to scramble to ask around with YouTubers for help letting me do their CCs just to pay my damn rent. There's enough anime to caption out there that I should not be fucking struggling.

After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!
