Kinda struggling to find anything about this so uh, anyone with a wacom cintiq that has managed to somehow control cintiq's fan settings on linux? or have that detected by any fan controlling software or sensor if possible? it um oscillates in speed a lot which is mostly a mild annoyance buuut

They touch on this in the article but a huge portion of my job as a professional game artist is reference gathering. That process often leads to unexpected places and ideas that benefit the piece in the end. Generating exactly what you want prevents fresh ideas from arising.
We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.

I agree but it's also fun to push back on this feeling by making your own website and linking to other websites with fun little buttons that people can click on to discover new pages. It's a new year, consider making your own website with Neocities or whatever

Dunno how it took me this long but only finding out now Imgur blocked UK access/viewing and ofc I find this while troubleshooting stuff and noticing half of guides&forum posts now have images I can't see which is just. Great. Very cool. Extremely helpful thanks. 💀

Current linux grievances are finding a way to make my logitech g600 side buttons work and having an UK/US international layout with dead keys that doesn't force me to press space to turn the acute accent into apostrophe because that is absolute bs, and on that note please give me back my acute+c=ç

I said I would not distrohop howeverrrrr I did -not- say I wouldn't wipe my drive to do a fresh install in order to manually partition stuff the way I want because I just learned about btrfs 🤪 (it's ok I'm having fun)
