1st game completed in 2026:
Octopath Traveler 0
Not my favorite Octopath game but definitely the most unique. The town building element wasn't as deep as it could be but the 8 person, multi row party completely changes the gameplay. Same as Octo 2, it ends with an absolutely incredible boss fight.

I thought the Bible level in Kingdom Hearts 3 was strange because I didn't know Disney owns the Bible
You'd think the name would be a dead giveaway but people are still surprised to find out Kingdom Hearts is a Christian game, albeit a subtle one.

That sucks about The Outer Worlds 2, and that Avowed was less than successful but at least they plan to keep making games in Avowed/Pillars of Eternity's universe.
Obsidian says that Avowed and The Outer Worlds 2 both underperformed sales expectations, with no more plans for future Outer Worlds games (though content for OW2 is coming).
Grounded 2, however, was a big hit for the studio.

Playing this and Octopath 0 back to back was kinda a nice pair. Both games are fairly dark and mature, and have very similar art styles. People were disappointed this game isn't a true HD-2D game, but honestly I think it looks better than those at times.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles
This game feels both modern and old school at the same time. Story, art, voice acting, and job system are all fantastic. The game is unforgiving the way older games tend to be, but also can be cheesed in the same way.

Best part about cooking with garlic is your hands/fingernails will smell like it for hours/days afterwards and there's nothing you can do about it.
