Can I just say it’s nice to see a frog used as a mascot and taking power from the one used and twisted by the right. Big difference takes balls and humour to be them frogs on the line compared to a faceless person behind a racist meme.

Really wish Face off continued past the 13 seasons, but I get it can only do so much, budget is a thing, though...I did have a bad dream where it came back...and they would use AI to design...that was a horrible dream.

Which then lead to people on social media damning the contestant and calling him a dirty cheater and like...you could tell these are the assholes who have never done art and have this toxic mind set. Between you and me if I got a tat my artist like me should be using refs to get it right.

goes to the judges and goes "Hey this guy you just praised doing a good tat well I can tell you he is cheating by using these" And has print outs of refs they had in the place they are doing tats in. A big "Controversial" moment in the show.

Unlike another show I used for background noise Ink Master, Who I swear to god is a show that really should push ref usage, but that one damn episode forever embedded in my brain where some asshole (whose tats were never great, like anatomy and other major issues clearly needing refs to improve)

You know as I have Face off the movie make up contest playing in the background there is something I enjoy a lot. They have refs, and they let them use refs and there is no demonizing the usage of refs. And as a show focused on an art I love they are they are praising it.

when i was a kid i didn't understand how this worked and i thought every CD that was manufactured had to have a monster put onto it. like they'd go up to ringo starr or whatever and ask him what monster he wants and he'd say "ouhh this DEfinitely has a "Battle Rocks" quality to it! peace and love.!"
