Such an amazing versatile actor with over 188 credits to his name. In addition to writing, producing & soundtrack. He won a Grammy in 2000 for the best spoken word album for children for his work on Listen to the Storyteller.

Was literally at Emory yesterday for my friend'second opinion. We drove by the CDC and I waved because being an Atlantan pretty much means you know people who work there (or, did before the Repulican Party killed public health). This is so disturbing & I am so 💔.
My prayers are with our neighbors in the Emory community and with CDC workers this afternoon in the midst of this active shooter alert.

I don't normally scanxiety too bad, but my MRI is Friday, bloods Monday and not meeting with my Onc til the 11th (we both had to schedule it this way, not an Onc issue!) has me SO damn tense. It takes A LOT to “fight” cancer in the world we are witnessing rn. #CanSky

This is an absolutely wonderful idea!
Today I delivered another 18 bags of groceries (>200 lbs) of fresh and delicious food from White Center Food Bank to 9 neighbors in White Center and Seattle for the @cascade.org #PedalingReliefProject – we use volunteers, bikes, and trailers to deliver food to neighbors who can’t visit the food bank

Yes 100%. I love that more and more people are talking about this. For some that have had their cancer put to bed, scans are still a stressful experience. At any given moment, your life could change again. #Cansky
You’re not imagining it. That heart-racing, gut-twisting, brain-overthinking chaos before a follow-up scan has a name: scanxiety. You don’t have to be “brave.”
