It also bundles a load of easings. If you click the curve in the transform feedback, then the little dots at the left of the preset curves you can select mmfcurves and mmfanticurves. That’ll give you tons of options for how the animations feel right out of the box

Framerate isn't the best with 100 houses, but I think with some optimisations I can finagle this into the game.

It's mad because Serif's martketers probably all think that this is gonna get people excited, but all it's doing is giving their customers anxiety and making them look around for what tool they can move to if it is a sub model.

I hope it's an asset store or something but I'm not that optimistic

All the creatives who use an Affinity tool as their daily driver are currently holding their collective breaths awaiting the horror that will be unleashed on October 30th. I'm pretty sure "Creative Freedom" means something very different to us than it does to the business bros.

I also really like that I can adjust the density of trees and grass and things now. I'll probably make that part of the quality settings.

Spent the last week swapping my hand placed props with spline procgen stuff. I'd say 80% of my game is now reticulated.

One of my favourite movies. When I was like 8 or 9 I was allowed a TV in my room, and I used to stay up late on Wednesdays to watch the RTE midweek horror movie. They scared the shit out of me but also gave me a very weird taste in films

I coded this atmosphere shader to only render if the camera is underneath it, but the atmosphere is a mesh with vertices and therefore not a perfect sphere, so I get these circles when the camera moves. Not going to be in the finished shader, but I thought it was neat and wanted to share
