I think Bob Marley holds a lot of space on the popular conscience when it comes to reggae.
He's earned that, but I reckon he overshadows not just a lot of other reggae artists but also a lot of other musical styles from Jamaica and the wider Caribbean
Sexy pedant here, but you reference bumsucking in your OP and whilst we might not all enjoy that (it is nice) it is a perfectly healthy way to enjoy a partner, and using it in a pejorative way to refer to someone you disagree with is bad.
