I honestly think that @lanedraws.bsky.social knocked it out of the park, but this ebook edition doesn't do the full cover justice. The paperback will have the ENTIRE graphic including the back. But for now, the ebook is both economical and available for pre-order this very minute.

Releases 9/26.

Adversarial poetry falls apart under close scrutiny. It’s more of a PR stunt than actual research.
Don’t cite the Adversarial Poetry vs AI paper — it’s chatbot-made ‘science’

Not even poetically sound

It is a sobering thought to realize that we're watching the leaders of American universities determine whether critical thinking-- and by extension, the #humanities --are still worthwhile investments.
Who invests in critical thinking and who invests in an AI chatbot to help you think will be really telling.

If your comedically epic steamy romantacy doesn’t include someone getting hit with a briefcase full of bees what are you even doing as a writer?
All great stories share one special ingredient. Epic Fantasy? Steamy Romance? Hard SciFi? Look carefully and you'll find it: someone getting hit with a briefcase full of bees.

Speaking of which, the business press has been mostly avoiding talking about how Duolingo destroyed its entire business model firing workers and making the product AI-dependent. Their stock halved this year.

The entire US economy is propped up by a product so toxic and insidious that everyone has to go on a weekly scavenger hunt just to remove it from products they're already using.
heads up, gmail has a new setting automatically on that allows their a*i to be trained on your emails so make sure to turn off the 'Smart Feature' checkbox in your settings

A word of warning: the entire printer manufacturing industry is not only on the make, but also rather clearly aligned with dark forces, and has possibly forged pacts with elder gods.

Network printers are especially suspect.

I was kinda nervous about giving this speech TBH. I don't usually get nervous about public speaking but going to a fancy Washington DC event and talking about fascism and why AI sucks felt like a lot honestly. I was so relieved people seemed to like it.

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

It gets lost in the shuffle, but the Speaker of the House is someone who, by all rights, should’ve had his career ended a decade ago by a Shreveport TV news investigative team.
Fond memories of that time Mike Johnson was president of a local law school that never opened its doors, in part because it was attached to a Baptist college that was losing its accreditation, and in part because it was always a scam from the start
Mike Johnson -- who is, yes, theoretically a lawyer -- has not had a chance to look at the American Constitution because he's been very busy lately, folks, he just can't see everything, gosh, how is he supposed to know if it's wrong that the president called for the execution of congress members?

The median's the middle
You add and divide for the mean
The mode is the one who appears the most

...and that's about average.
