According to this announcement, the Oregon national guard will go on a year deployment to deal with the nonexistent emergency at the border. A friend tells me that one guardsman is a Medford cardiologist. There’s a one year wait to see a cardiologist there. www.nationalguard.mil/News/Article...

I’ve been (re)watching Star Trek: The Next Generation and I’m on season 7 now. I used to watch it with my dad and grandpa on Wednesdays after I did my homework. I’ll be sad when I finish it but I guess I can always watch it with my kids when they’re a bit older.

I need to remember to take breaks from the heat while gardening, especially on the days where it’s still going to be in the low 90s in the evenings. It is a lot easier to be outside now that my iron levels are back to normal though 😅 pretty amazing to have enough oxygen and blood in your body
