DEATH TOLL REACHES 109 💔

At Bendigo, Vic, on Dec 13, Steely Shiraz's short life came to and end in wet, treacherous conditions.

The two-year-old suffered a "right radius ulna fracture" and was euthanised.

He was raced 6 times and earned $2000.

Except the bat people, including my friend Bec who's quoted at the end.
The species is ecologically vital and already vulnerable to climate change and disease
