As much as social media encourages recreational shape rotating, the actual purpose of the internet is to manifest things in real life. The "real world" would collapse quickly if the internet went down. The alt right can meme a revolution into existence, why not us? It's just easier with privilege

Anyway I think it's a mistake to analyze this in terms of how possible it is because these people are operating on faith that if they do the things they're supposed to they'll reap the rewards they're supposed to. They'll only find out afterwards it didn't happen right, like every doomsday cult

Considering the obsession with Curing Mortality, they do really mean for this to be Forever. These people want to create a literal Heaven On Earth but specifically for the bourgeoisie. And their vision of it is made grotesque by their own moral bankruptcy and egotistic self-delusion

Thinking about when I was learning about analog computing years ago and saw all the equations I'd been using to describe circuits instead treated as the programs for them to evaluate. Everything around us is information being manipulated, physics and computing are just two sides of the same coin
