My favorite Super Bowl memory is still when Elon Musk was at the 2023 game in Arizona and panicked about his Eagles tweet getting less engagement than Joe Biden's. He then flew immediately to Twitter's San Francisco office to start emergency meetings to fix the site's algorithm.

I was extremely wary of Keir Starmer becoming Prime Minister, and overall had pretty low expectations, but gosh darn it if he hasn’t managed to limbo right under that bar.

So frustrating the ‘talent’ most likely to replace him is Wes Streeting.

Really has been a lost 4 years for Kalvin, hasn’t it. From being virtually the first name on the team sheet for England and playing the Euros final, but money move to City, to on loan at Sheffield United. Such a shame how his best years have been wasted. #lufc

For all the doom mongering we’ve only lost 2 in the last 14 (to Arsenal and Newcastle no less) and a win on Friday sees us go equal on points with Palace in 14th and 9 clear of the relegation zone. #lufc

Spurs look like a totally beaten team here. Absolutely no confidence in what they’re doing and just waiting for the manager to be sacked.

Not that I’m bitter or anything, but would be quite amusing if after all this he doesn’t do much and Palace end up relegated. #lufc
Update from @david-ornstein.bsky.social: Wolves have accepted a bid from Crystal Palace for Jorgen Strand Larsen for a fee of £43million plus £5m in add-ons.

Indeed. It’s extremely dispiriting to see a Labour chancellor forward this populist argument about taxation. Particularly when she knows it is, ultimately, a lie.
Rachel Reeves: "It is not right that people who don't go to university bear the cost for others to." I don't use local leisure centres and I don't drive, so will I be made exempt for taxation that pays for all that stuff? Or is it only education we'll be going after

I hear the best young striker in English football is still on the books… #lufc
DF: "A cornerstone of our philosophy is our academy. We have players with us in training, like Chambers, Cresswell, Chadwick, Lienou. We don't want to just spend money on other clubs' talents. We won't block pathways for our young players." #lufc

Exactly this. We should have been playing with wingers and a second striker (Nmecha) after 20 minutes of that second half. #lufc
Their change pinned Bogle and JJ back. So if we change to a back 4, suddenly we have wingers pinning them back. They were awful and we let them drift back into it. Nerves crept in and we couldn’t hold onto the ball.

Fortune favours the brave.

Reform’s messaging (such as it is) so far has been primarily anti-establishment. Tricky to continue doing that when the party is increasingly made up of former Tory ministers responsible for the failure they’re setting themselves up against.
