We watched The Dark Crystal in theaters last night and it's so wild how similar to Castle in the Sky or Nausicaa you can just see this through-line to Final Fantasy and Zelda.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is an amazing remaster not only by its mechanical and quality of life upgrades, but by textual changes that add so much to the game between characters who had no or limited interactions before.

Agrias getting new dialogue is amazing.

It's been over 15 years since I last read the Deepgate Codex trilogy by Alan Campbell, and as someone who doesn't re-read books often, it's crazy how much this one held up. It's a tight-paced dark fantasy filled with great characters in a fucked-up world; I'm surprised it hasn't become more popular.
