Keir Starmer's aides are reportedly telling him not to go to the COP30 climate conference, because Reform would attack him for it.
Yes, they might.
And he should wear it as a badge of honour.
Standing up for humanity, for science and a habitable planet.
Where's the hazard in that?

Starmer’s desperate rush for digital IDs is a recipe for repression
ID cards won’t reduce migration and will put trans rights at risk. But that’s not the biggest cost of Starmer’s half-baked scheme, says Cat MacLean.

Even back in the 70s and 80s when I could be hassled by the police for walking while trans, no one ever tried to stop me pissing in the Ladies or tried to make me change into my swimsuit among men.

There is no dignity or respect involved in taking away rights I have exercised freely for forty years

They aren't bringing ID cards in to make people's lives easier, they are specifically bringing them in to make certain people's lives harder.

It should be needless to say, but it is perhaps at this moment worth saying, that transgender individuals have the same right as anyone else to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

No one experiencing the tragedy of a miscarriage should be arrested, much less abandoned in jail for 5 months with a $100k bond. But that’s exactly what happened to Mallori Patrice Strait in Texas. Women, particularly women of color, in this country are no longer allowed dignity even in extreme loss

It was when JK Rowling said that the Cass Review was a peer review itself and that's why it didn't need to be peer reviewed I realised she's an idiot.

Anyway, here's a peer review of Cass.

Guess what it finds?
Just out! Our peer-reviewed critique of the Cass Review has been published by BMC Medical Research Methodology. Please read and share. We show that the Cass Review is fatally flawed and should not be the basis for policy or practice in transgender healthcare.

Our methodological critique of The Cass Review has been peer-reviewed published & is therefore way more authoritative than Cass which is un-peer-reviewed.

Streeting/Starmer can no longer claim Cass is “gold standard” or “landmark”.

Cass is just junk science.
