It's increasingly obvious that Labour's strategy - call it Starmerism, Blue Labour, whatever - has got it badly wrong. It has alienated the party's core vote while failing to win over those leaning to Reform. There was no shortage of people warning them they were getting it wrong either.

We tried to place this story - very expensive polling, the first of its kind, strong quantitative data about what trans people feel about Britain: bluntly there is no better way to tell the story - with the BBC but it said it was "too weak".

But it will pick up any old piece of transhating garbage.

In @yougov.co.uk polling of the trans community, to the best of our knowledge the first of its kind ever conducted, an astonishing 84% said Britain is “fairly unsafe” or “very unsafe” for trans people.

Poetry is a great weapon to use against fascists. Fascist are like snake charmers who make the lower, lizard levels in our brains rise up. But poetry reaches up beyond that to the higher levels of our brains where empathy, reflection and intelligence lie.

His absolute demolition of Kemi Badenoch over her repeated lies about the Tory Gov's relationship with China has been superlative.
