But tonight I watched Red One with the boys.
Guys I hate to say it but it's a really good flick.

Well, #Scriptsky, my epic portal fantasy, MOONLIGHT, is fully written, complex battle scenes and all.
I think Imma let it sit and marinate for a couple of weeks, then take a final look at it before offering it up to readers.
It's still at 147 pages. Still shorter than the LOTR films 😁

I use a great program called Shot Designer for blocking. It lets you set up almost everything in the shot, including furniture, cars, actors, lighting, camera locations, etc. 1/2

Ok so I jotted down some notes based on the scripts I was able to look at this morning, and I have a plan of action.
Tonight, Imma let it simmer in my liddle brain, and then tomorrow I'm attacking it the way my cat attacks a pine needle that I dragged in on my shoe. #ScriptSky

The bad news is that I think I've got the rest of the script about where I want it, so tomorrow I won't be able to avoid writing the battle scene.

It will bookend my portal fantasy with the first epic battle scene.

Gil Gerard was one of my favorite actors growing up. I watched Buck Rogers RELIGIOUSLY. It was way before its time, with the first leading lady who was a certified badass in Col Wilma Deering, and a male lead who wasn't intimidated by her and who truly respected her.
RIP Gil.
