We’ve had a lot of folks tell us we’re burning resources too early by launching field first. We disagree. Both candidates we’ve worked with (Akbar Ali and Eric Gisler) won their specials this year. The infrastructure we’re building can flip both the mansion and State House!
In a stealth upset, Democrat Eric Gisler flips a GOP-held Georgia House seat spanning parts of Athens and Oconee County. Gisler won 39% of vote last November. He captured 51% tonight to defeat a Republican backed by Gov. Brian Kemp and other GOP leaders.

One thing Gwen understands more than most about the Texas and Oklahoma crack down on trans people existing in the university is that this is part of a broader movement by TPUSA and astroturf right wing groups to push society to make having a job while being openly trans impossible again.
