while i may be taking next week off, ive still been working plenty this week. i won't reveal too much, but i have a *very* lengthy article im working on that may prove to be the longest ive ever written, and the most in-depth research ive ever done. at 5k words so far, and am not close to finishing

Again, focusing on individuals staying or going misses the point.

What does become a real problem is when the issue gets framed (usually by more gentry expats or those who follow them) as "everyone who stays is doomed."

That is false and it is genuinely, unacceptably damaging.

Vast, vast majority of trans people aren't going to leave the country. Many can't leave the areas they're currently in.

If trans survival/liberation are something one cares about, at all, that's the reality.

(And no, this is not — in the main — about indviduals leaving the country).
