No Democrats voting for her, huh?
By a vote of 51-47, the #Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Megan Blair Benton to be US District Judge for the Western District of Missouri.

This was a party line vote with Senators Crapo and McConnell not voting.

Bessent: “I was mistaken when I said tariffs could be inflationary because they haven’t been.”

Facts that bear repeating.

What is @whitehouse.senate.gov doing? Used to think he would have been better as RM/Chair of Senate Judiciary over Durbin, but those feelings are long gone.

Hope people remember that @captmarkkelly.bsky.social keeps voting for DT’s nominees even as they go after him personally.

Fucking losers.
By a vote of 58-39, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Aaron Christian Peterson to be United States District Judge for the District of Alaska. Democrat Senators voting aye: Duckworth, Durbin, Hassan, Kaine, Kelly, Shaheen, and Whitehouse. Senators not voting: Crapo, McConnell, and Murphy.

Democrats love means testing as well, probably more so than Republicans.

Don’t let them off the hook!
Find yourself someone who loves you like a Republican loves imposing administrative burdens on people who need help.

Why is the Secretary of The Interior even talking about an upcoming war anywhere?
The Iraq-Iran war ended in 1988. Is Interior Secretary Doug Burgum talking about an upcoming Iraq-Iran war that the Trump regime is helping plan? Or is Burgum just hallucinating like Kellyanne Conway was when she referred to the Bowling Green Massacre?

People didn’t see that from the moment he was announced?
This Parker piece brings us to an important point:

If this were truly a business-driven decision, the publisher/CEO who has utterly failed to turn around a struggling but viable business would be the one who gets the axe.

But Will Lewis remains in his job. bsky.app/profile/bgru...
