Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Man. Wild to learn that the emerald miner thing is essentially an urban myth, but it also makes the stuff Elon has done make more sense. He didn’t have money really so he didn’t know what to do when he had a lot of it. It made him who he is, constantly chasing the high of making more money

Admittedly I haven’t been a practicing Catholic in a long while, but 11 years of Catholic school ingrained a lot of the doctrine in my memory, and I am confused - did they change Catholicism to not believe that poor people deserve care and I just missed it?
