All of us vs. all the billionaires.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

Years ago, I went to see IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. I'd seen the movie dozens of times, but never in the theater, so I was pretty excited. I got my popcorn and coke and found the perfect seat. The theater was empty when I arrived, but just before the movie started, a family of around 30 people came in.

AI has many victims.
But somewhere on that list needs to be... no longer seeing a random video of a dog saving a child and feeling wonder instead of skepticism.

Or any animal video
Baby video
Food video
Nature video
Human video

To make this even worse, they played, and lost to NFL interception leader Tua twice in those 14 games.
The Jets haven't intercepted a pass in 2025. At 14 games, it's the longest single-season streak in league history.

“it’s reasonable to ask questions about trans girls in sports” was always intended to mainstream transphobia.

It’s absurd that people fell for it. Democrats are constantly letting oppressors set the terms of debate instead of just saying “no, fuck you.”

It's tragic when we have a genuine legend in our lives, and we don't appreciate them enough until they're gone.
When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

The world can be a hateful place, but it's overwhelmingly a gentle and welcoming world when we let it.

We lost one of the best of us today, but what he left behind can help us all be better.

Otherwise, what are we mourning?

Rob Reiner was one of the perennials, a force in TV and then film and then politics and Los Angeles life for decades and decades. He was the quintessence of Bleeding Heart Liberal Hollywood in the best sense of every word.

May his memory be a blessing.

Did you ever consider the possibility that white supremacists just really hate people? By being very exclusionary about who gets to be "white," they only have to show any compassion for the smallest possible group of people.

And yet, they still hate themselves.

Fuck them, fuck them all.

One of the many reasons AI can't produce good writing is it can't hate its own writing. It can't think to itself "Maybe I'm illiterate" during the writing process. And that's essential

Legit amazing stuff.

And a great, great example of how “I have a dark, somewhat twisted sense of humor that’s not for everybody” does not have to mean “I lash out at powerless people and congratulate myself for my edginess.”
Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

Once rode in an elevator with Paul Dano who had likely just exited a casting call in my building. This was just around the time of Little Miss Sunshine. I've genuinely enjoyed him in everything since The Girl Next Door. He made my skin crawl in There Will Be Blood.

Watching Fargo, and now Alien, as TV series and getting mad that too many fans didn't embrace The Last Jedi. Noah and Rian both understood the fundamental DNA of those properties, but labored to create a natural evolution of it.

Remind these barons that the good news is that they won't have to pay a 90% billionaires tax once we've taxed billionaires out of existence.
It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.
Exclusive: Amazon has long been USPS’s top customer, providing over $6 billion in annual revenue in 2025.

But Amazon may give up its long-standing partnership with USPS to deliver packages itself, which could spell disaster for the mail agency.

You, like me, have recently spent a silly amount of money on something you didn't actually need, you just wanted it. Food delivery, a stack of books you won't read for 2 years, an overpriced hotel.

Ease some of that guilt and give something for a kid who really needs it right now.
