On the one hand, an odd statement coming the day after a series of US strikes against one side in Yemen’s civil war. On the other hand, an indication that the intervention in Yemen will remain dominated by kinetic actions rather than support to the Yemeni government or other Houthi adversaries.

Let's not forget that in aggregate we are smarter, more likeable and less insane than these guys. The absolute intellectual best they can muster is Russell Vought. No slouch, a scary opponent to be sure, but also a detestable man and certainly no Nobel Prize in his future either.
Here’s a useful:hopeful way to think about things: the broader strategic rationale behind Musk/Trump/Vought is that they can inflict enough damage and move with enough velocity that when election time comes around it’s all a fiat accompli, regardless of the results. But let’s assume the wheel turns
