I mean, sure that biopic was awful, but deporting her seems a bit over the top.

How much did they pay for that Superbowl spot just so they could pummel their own business?

So much for, "There's no such thing as bad publicity."

The people who think this guy's the cat's ass are the same ones who spent a generation having seizures over participation trophies.

Implicit in every pardon is an admission of guilt. A pardon is not an exoneration.
NEGUSE: AG Bondi, that man works for you now, right? The man in that video from J6 yelling 'kill them!' at cops. His name is Jared Wise.

BONDI: He does work for us, yes. I believe he was pardoned

NEGUSE: And you expect hard-working police officers to believe you take law enforcement seriously?

JFC, how idiotic, cruel, and irresponsible.
Within hours, we already had an elected official—B.C. MLA Tara Armstrong—blaming the Tumbler Ridge school shooting on gender-affirming care.

Love this part: "My first instinct — that I didn't think too well on — I walked out and punched it right in the face,"

So much for "Trust your instincts." 😄

Sask. man fights off starving moose with fists, shovel and bullets to save his mother | CBC News
A starving and cold moose was huddled against the house, tucked next to the warmth of a dryer vent. It didn’t take long before it attacked Angie Tuffnell.

Hoo, boy, I wish. But it was only a couple of days ago, U.S. media were talking about Trump "softening" his position on ICE.

Bravo!
See, @evansolomon.bsky.social, this is what responsible governments do.

This prayer can essentially be boiled down to this: "Dear God, please make our president less of an asshole. Amen."
wow -- with Trump standing behind him, a man (not sure who he is) offers this prayer: "We pray that he would be mindful of the poor and that he would be invested in the alleviation of suffering happening in the families preparing to bury their loved ones in Minneapolis."

Damn.
Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Chuck Schumer is obviously living in the timeline that I wish I were living in. That's unfortunate, because the rest of us are stuck in this timeline.

I get that men our age (Chuck's and mine) have difficulty adapting to abrupt, wrenching change, but my oath, what a failure to rise to the occasion.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.
