This year we’re doing an open call for ordinary day diaries from the LGBTQIA+ community, and specifically we’re asking people to record their day on the 12th February. Whatever you get up to, we’d love to have it in our collection!

continuing the book topic:
can anyone recommend a website to track the books you're reading, look for recommendations, etc?

If you got a blorbo you love, draw them even if it looks like "shit"

Draw them everyday to get your fixation going, even if it takes YEARS

The look at the progress you made from the very first blorbo concept to now. Be proud of your achievement

Timeline Cleanse: Please enjoy this photo of a praying mantis that was sitting on top of my car windshield, but the angling and lighting were so weird it looks like a giant praying mantis wandering a corn field in Iowa.

I love Minecraft sometimes. I am currently waiting for the souls to dissipate from my hell compost so that I can grow dark bamboo that gives me gunpowder and hot peppers.

This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

I'm going to make a concerted effort to only put good things on here in 2026.

There's enough awful shit going on in the world, I don't need to be adding to that.

Start your year off right by buying a bunch of queer books by a queer, disabled indie author.

They're half price for another few days.

Oh, you think you can tell AI writing from human writing by whether the author can talk lovingly and in detail about the characters and their motivations? JOKE'S ON YOU, I've written five novels since then and I can't remember shit, death of the author, those arseholes are YOUR problem now.

12YO girl signed up to do “stand up comedy” at the talent show. 13YO boy decided to heckle her. Teacher started to tell the boy to leave her alone, but the 12YO comedian said “no, no, let him go, this is the closest he’s ever going to get to having a conversation with a girl.”

My gran ended up with both vascular dementia and Alzheimer's, so I say this from the very bottom of my heart; everyone involved in doing this to that poor woman needs to yeet themselves into a black hole.
The comments on this are all about how sweet it is and I feel insane. Using AI to make fake memories of your grandma with dementia and telling her they happened and then filming her reaction

You are painting a vision of a future in which teachers create lessons with "A.i.," students complete them with "A.i.," and teachers grade them with "A.i."

No learning takes place under this system.

The only benefactors of this system are the corporations being paid for the "A.i." products.

I've just seen some dingbat AI bro trying to defended the wretched plagiarism sausage machine by explaining it can generate 'ideas and scenarios' for writers.

That's the GOOD bit I enjoy. Find me an AI that can do my fucking tax returns correctly and we'll talk, you absolute low-fat yoghurt.

Perform empathy. Please. Perform the fuck out of it. It's so good to act with kindness. I hope it penetrates to a place where you feel it, too, but if you must act some way, act the right way. I'm not here to judge your authenticity, I just want you to be kind, thoughtful, and mortified by meanness.

Okay if I can be selfish for a moment:

I'm delisted from itch. In the UK you literally can not see my profile.

A big chunk of my income, my living money, comes from bundles like this. It would mean a lot if you could share it, send it to friends. 🧵
