A photo I took of Paul McCartney on a boiling day last summer, attending LIPA for a masterclass. May he have many more summers! Happy birthday dear Paul, you bring us all so much joy.
30 years ago tonight, down in the basement of Helter Skelter bookshop on Denmark Street, thrilling to Anthology Episode 1 as it went out live - an event I co-hosted. A lifetime ago, and yet... Remembering late owner Sean Body, always welcoming and inclusive. A magical place while we had it.

This update of the 1995 documentary series is utterly authoritative. And its tweak of the Fab Four’s songs is a thing of wonder – their music absolutely thumps!

New photo of John and Yoko in 1977, at the wedding of actor Peter Boyle at which John served as best man. The photo was shown on the 30th anniversary Everybody Loves Raymond special on CBS, so taking at face value.

"Certainly, at this stage in his life, McCartney doesn’t need to tour. But he seems keenly aware that his ability to spread joy to so many people practically qualifies as an essential service."

The Beatles' original fan base is about to die off, they deserve to finally hear "Carnival of Light" even if it's terrible.

Especially if it's terrible.
Don’t get me started on that box set lol, a tracklist made for vinyl and no rooftop concert are such bewildering choices. Get Back really should’ve at least had a soundtrack, it would’ve cleaned up

- It never failed to bring a smile to my face - and that was exactly the same for the man himself.

One of the absolute best in every way - such a beautiful friend
