The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Polanski is talking nonsense about wealth taxes.

My husband gets these ideas in his head and he won’t settle until he does the task he’s thought of (yes I’ve already told him he’s neurodivergent) and today it was touch up the walls because he gets stressed at the marks on them (I don’t care at all), but I got cute pictures of a “tiny” person

I went to the office today and at about 2pm was sent a picture of my 2 year old with a paint roller touching up the walls

Since I started filing copyright infringement reports to get my paintings taken off Temu, a small industry of AI replacement paintings has sprung up, with dozens of brightly coloured paintings purporting to be by me. Here's a sample of what is supposedly Dublin's Poolbeg chimneys - painted by "me".
Screencap of 2 rows of 5 products, 8 of which are square cushions and one from each row is physical picture in portrait format. All of them have boldly coloured industrial chimneys, with some autumn foliage on trees or overhanging in the foreground. The blue water of a bay is visible in most, and the skies are blue or cloudy white. The number of chimneys is 3 or 4 in all but one which has 2. The chimneys are random blotchy areas of red and white, or just cream, rather than the red and white bands of the top halves and plain concrete bottom halves, of the actual poolbeg chimneys. Visible prices range from below €3 and €4 to one that is under €8.

After the debate today, it's really impressive how on the nose this is about Fine Gael's presidential campaign plans for the next 12 days.

People can see through it though - they're saying so on the doors.

Today he admitted to me he loved it

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

UKIP’s new leader (Nick Tenconi) is also part of the Turning Point UK leadership team. They’re holding their conference this weekend to announce a “Holy War”. Their poster has a not so subtle KKK vibe to it. Hard to tell if this is division within the far right or the direction of the far right.

I often wonder what my 2 year old dreams about. Checked the camera cos I heard shouting (it’s 10:30pm) and tuned in to talking in sleep: “Daddy! Mummy! Tickle tickle hehehe” and kissy noises.

Made me very emotional honestly. Cute af

I was a pretty “weird” kid at school (as an adult I realise it’s just the autism) and I found friends via it. At first through school friends (group chats), and then through MySpace.

Then in my later teens I started YouTube and going to/organising gatherings - my entire life started then.

UK universities claim to be reckoning with their imperial and colonial pasts, but refuse to see their implication in the genocidal settler colonialism of the present – so how serious are these exercises? wrote about this for @versobooks.bsky.social blog

‘Industries’, which rely on theft, are better known as criminal concerns. Fortunately this form of lawlessness is illegal in the EU. Companies indulging in it should be putting many billions aside for the fines. Copyright theft is illegal & artists’ bodies are tracking it.

A wee message from us 👇
A Message to the Police (British) State

News of a Crown Prosecution Service Appeal against the ruling of their own judge is unsurprising.

He ruled the charge was ‘unlawful and null’ and it was.

It is unsurprising because this whole process has not been driven by the police or the courts, it has been driven by politicans backed up by British media. This is political policing.

There is no ‘important point of law’. The CPS have submitted nothing new in their appeal. What there is though, is a state wide witch-hunt against Palestinian solidarity.

The media were gleefully informed about this appeal before we were.

😠 A Message to the Police (British) State

Once again this is a massive waste of taxpayers money, of police time, of court time.

Once again there are endless news reports about Mo Chara, about Kneecap but we are NOT the story.

Yesterday 104 Palestinians were murdered in Gaza and hundreds more maimed as Israel commits genocide.

Entire families wiped out, people bombed to pieces as they slept, young kids with limbs blown off and no medicaine to treat them.

This is aided and supported by the British State.

We will fight you in your court again. We will win again.

There’s a cat in the start of the title sequence bubba points out every time, and now if I don’t say “yeah, a cat!” in response I’m met with “did you see?”
