American Samoans, unique among *everyone* born in US states or territories, are denied US citizenship.

That means they are banned from voting.

That's made some a target of vicious GOP prosecution for fraud; even if they were told incorrect info from public officials.

Bannon called his version of this “flooding the zone with shit” and the point is to undermine a shared sense of reality. This is also why fascists love AI, it makes knowing what's real impossible.
I can never find the interview but in Early stages of trump 1 I heard conversation with a Russian propaganda expert...

And their point was that the Russians don't actually try to persuade anyone... They just offer a buffet of answers so that someone can pick their own "true" answer...

Good morning. I'd like to invite anyone who is interested to make a small gesture of kindness today. It's up to you to decide what that can be. The key is for you to act on the idea. With so much out of our control, we can choose how to be with each other today and every day.

So just found out that Audible have silently removed six audiobooks from my library. Because I noticed, and complained, they gave six credits to buy them back again. They did this because the publishers updated the books and Audible just deleted the old versions.

This is the thing about the "Don't give them the pretext to send in more feds" arguments. The administration is using its own murder of an unarmed civilian as the pretext to send in more agents. They do not need a pretext and will invent them if they want.

So when authorities say “she tried to run over an officer,” that is not a neutral description. It is a claim of intent that can be used to justify lethal force after the fact.

When the state kills first and invents the threat afterward, it is not policing, it is death squad behavior. /end

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

Here's the sort of thing Webloc can do:
- zoom in on specific phone, see where else that device has been locally or around country
- click a 'route' button to see the specific route
- click a nighttime button to see where at night; their likely home

Location data from phone companies requires a warrant. But ICE believes this data doesn't, because people give it up "voluntarily." That's according to this internal ICE legal analysis shared with us. Ignores that people don't know what apps are tracking them www.404media.co/inside-ices-...

A Black led Marxist-Leninist activist organisation would be amazing again. Resurrect the Black Panthers, build a Rainbow Coalition like Fred Hampton dreamed, and show people that we can all be proud of our cultures and ethnicities, while also standing in solidarity with other working class peoples.

I want us to stay focused on the grief of this terrible moment, but when Black people tell you not to touch something, that is not a challenge. Some things are ours for a reason. We can remember Renee Good as the person she was and the circumstances of her murder without co-opting Black suffering.
“Say her name” is not about allyship. It’s a term crafted for people who are the focus of violence that deliberately erases us. It’s not for her, and it wouldn’t be for her, even if she were Heather Heyer, who didn’t get it when she died for civil rights. Can you understand that?

Noem saying Ross acted "according to his training" is a blinking red light. Any investigative effort from those with subpoena power needs to press on ICE permitting early resort to lethal force. @lilahassan.bsky.social's reporting is crucial & acknowledges it may be out of date:
