How many times are we, as a people, going to kick this specific, stupid SV football??? Drives me nuts.

Free enterprise vs free press.
I expected the cuts would be bad but I'm honestly stunned and sickened seeing how many great journalists the Washington Post just lost. People who nailed huge investigations, documented war zones, exposed horrific crimes, dropped all at once for failures they did not cause.

Batteries are the fossil fuel killer.

Much of the main stream analysis about the energy transition is still pretending this didn't happen in the past two years.

But it did.

Paramilitaries, you say? 🤔🧐
Unmarked car, no lights or police insignia. Masked armed men leap out. Victim not in the act of committing any crime. This is not how a serious federal law enforcement agency acts in a free society.

How is this not supposed to be a “right wing paramilitary force loyal to the regime”?
This is just insane. It’s only a matter of time before DHS kills another innocent person here.

The post-Me Too era has really taught me that the underlying issue with the persistence of sexual violence isn’t exactly women’s credibility, as the “believe women” slogan suggested, but rather with rape’s moral status. It’s not that people think it doesn’t happen. They think it doesn’t matter.
It's disturbing to see many of the the major figures in moral cognition all over the Epstein files

He was friendly with a huge number of the leading figures in the field, including giving millions to their labs, long after he pled guilty to sexually abusing young girls

Minneapolis is trying out new forms of resistance. They're doing pop-up blockade block parties. This one is on Cedar and 34th, a main route into the city. They have a stereo, food & a fire. MPD is present but not interfering. Lots of honks of support. ICE agents have been reported detouring around.

Everything they learned in Minnesota they’re applying in Maine from day one. They started off doing fast-moving snatch and grabs on the street, recording and using facial id on observers, and threatening observers directly. They’ll do it all where you live too.
Why is the msm outside of Maine not covering this? It seems like a huge and very troubling story to me. ICE coming to observers houses or calling them on the phone warning them to back off??!! www.pressherald.com/2026/01/23/i...
