Two problems:
1) They should have *prevented* the problem in the first place by having permanent mandatory masking.
2) The requirement now is for surgical masks, which aren't sufficient protection. Surgical masks are not #PPE.

NEW: Ontario’s transparency watchdog has been forced to “intervene” after the solicitor general’s office repeatedly ignored orders to release information.

It’s part of a trend which has also raised questions about political interference. #OnPoli

There have been several instances in recent years where the IPC has told the solicitor general's office to release information, only for the government to ignore the decree.

Cities say they're too big, the province says they were briefed weeks ago. #Onpoli

Cities like Paris are showing that urban greening thru street & place transformation is just COMMON SENSE, for cooling cities that are getting hotter due to the #ClimateCrisis, and for reducing emissions, cleaning the air, and improving quality-of-life!

It really has been interesting the last while to see Doug Ford's outbursts. The true Ford. From "get a job" to "audit orgs that might support left wing causes". The authoritarian belligerent bully that had no staff to muzzle him in City Hall days is still there. Does Ontario see? Do they care?

BREAKING: Doug Ford is rushing through his attack on renters, Bill 60.

Bill 60 will make it easier for corporate landlords to raise rents and evict you.

It also makes it impossible for cities to get rid of road lanes for bikes or anything else (parks, housing, sidewalks). StopBill60.ca

The use of the Notwithstanding Clause is out of control. It’s up to voters to stop it
The architects of Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms thought the Notwithstanding Clause would only be used in exceptional circumstances. Conservative premiers seem determined to prove them wrong.
