I'd recommend a visit to Bastogne in Belgium and the scene of the Battle of the Bulge.
One of the last big battles of WW2, where US troops destroyed the remnants of the Wehrmarcht making victory inevitable.

This is such nonsense - I informed them my pay increased in Sept 24. They continued to pay me until October 25 when the relevant DLA was up for review. I told them regularly. On Thursday this week they sent me 5 identical forms, each for a different time period but ALL including Sept 25.

It's "interesting" that the new @labouruk.bsky.social site has an RSVP button on invitations to meetings. Someone should tell them that one possible response is "Sorry, I can't make it". RSVP doesn't mean YES!
