How an innocent woman's name was tied to the Jan. 6 pipe bombs
The FBI has ruled the woman out as a suspect in the 2021 plot, sources said, but only after her name circulated on social platforms and a conservative news site.

I think DJT believes laws don't apply to him because a majority of the Supreme Court said a President has pretty much absolute immunity for their actions and orders while in office.

Horrifyingly, he may be right. For now.
The President directing the FBI to target us is exactly why we made this video in the first place. He believes in weaponizing the federal government against his perceived enemies and does not believe laws apply to him or his Cabinet.

After two infants died, the Louisiana Dept of Health under the leadership of the new incoming deputy director of the CDC, delayed notifying the public for months of a whooping cough outbreak. Instead, he ordered DOH to stop promoting vaccines. Pertussis is currently a national health crisis.
Louisiana officials waited months to warn public of whooping cough outbreak
After a whooping cough outbreak killed two infants, Louisiana health officials waited months to officially alert physicians or do public outreach. That's not the typical public health response.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

They’re not gone they’ve just been embedded into the higher echelons of our agencies as SES level cronies that are permanent hires without having gone through any actual job training or vetting 😒😒😒
DOGE was nothing short of a catastrophic failure, taking a wrecking ball to everything from cancer research to lifesaving humanitarian aid that will almost certainly lead to millions of preventable deaths.

The real fraud and waste is happening at the White House.

We really do have two different kinds of law now: District Court law (aka the law), and Supreme Court "law" (aka the U.S. House of Lords upholding Trump's personalist regime)
I don’t know what the Supreme Court will do, but I am confident that at the District Court level it is still the case that the Pentagon cannot recall a sitting US Senator to active duty in order to court martial him for something he said. Article 1, Section 6, among other constitutional provisions.

Tom Emmer on tariff checks to Americans: "You gotta love this president. He looks at this like a business, and when the business is doing well, the shareholders, which are the American people, should be rewarded."

Cassidy could concede publicly that confirming Kennedy was a tragic mistake. He could call for RFK Jr's resignation. He could schedule hearings, haul the secretary to Capitol Hill, and demand the CDC’s public resources reflect the scientific cannon.
TAPPER: You were the deciding vote that allowed RFK Jr to ascend to the role of Health Secretary. Did you give him too much credit?

CASSIDY: The fact is the scientific community agrees that vaccines are safe. That's all I can say.

Ask people of a certain age (including me) what one of the best songs was to do "The Bump" to, this will probably rank high on the list.
KC and the Sunshine Band’s hits #1 with “That’s the Way (I Like It)” — 50 years ago today.

“People always thought [the track] was some kind of crazy accident, like we just stumbled onto a hook,” said Harry Wayne Casey. “But we worked that groove over and over until it felt like a living thing.”
