I know people think Musk only bought Twitter to help the rise of fascism.
While that’s important, I still think it’s secondary to his primary goal, which was to own the place where his fans praise him.

I remain convinced that AI is fundamentally a labor-punishing technology, not a labor-replacing one; the point is to force existing workers to accept lower wages & worse conditions because of the threat of a replacement that’s not practically possible at scale
