He'd also try to impregnate it
Elon Musk couldn’t figure out how to make a pop tart without hurting himself
one thing thats kinda crazy to get your head around is not that the musk and thiel masters of the universe are ungrateful for the vast public infrastructure, public funding of research, and robust systems of laws and rules that made their wealth possible. it's that theyre too dumb to understand it

There’s not a chance in hell someone in that orbit did that. All we hear from them is “less taxes”.

That’s just an outright lie. Show us the receipts. Prove it dipshit
Trump: "By the way, a friend of mine called us the other day and he said 'I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have because of the Democrat shutdown. I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have with the military.' Today, he sent us a check for $130 million. It's gonna go the military."

The first guy to cut an ad with this clip, freeze on it, and come on via voiceover to say "Donald Trump is a pussy" will be the next FDR
Leavitt: "At this moment in time, of course, the ballroom is really the president's main priority."

Just a quick PSA that you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in your public movements. This is why law enforcement can follow YOU or photograph YOU in public without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Law enforcement doesn’t get “extra” protection in that regard. Goose/gander etc.
Because he’s doing his job…reporting. Because we still live in a free country with a First Amendment and a free press.

Hey, remember when Elon Musk was going save hundreds of billions of dollars by revoking Social Security benefits for dead people? Didn't happen, because hardly any dead people were getting Social Security. Instead, there's been a big *increase* in Social Security recipients since Musk's DC stint.

Paul Castellano once said (truthfully) the he was completely alone, except for his money. It’s astonishing that a mob boss was capable of more existential pathos than tech billionaires, who are trying to buy the love of the world that they fail to improve (to put it mildly)

Elon received the $56B 2018 package to build a car company. Tesla's directors wants to replace that, and give him another $1T, for destroying the car company. Love the "added context" here.

this motherfucker gave depositions saying uwu I'm just a small bean whomst only makes little visions networks, how the system actually works and human supervision is supported has nothing to do with me, even though my credibility is being used to sell these safety critical systems

damn, this might have been an useful insight when he was at Tesla working on systems that drove human beings into stationary objects without proper safeguards for keeping them engaged as supervisors
Karpathy starts by saying human supervision is needed only because models aren't yet capable enough. But if you look closely at the obstacle ("I want to learn... and become better as a programmer, not just get served mountains of code that I'm told works"), it doesn't go away "when we reach AGI." +

killing people for money is way too popular, and the excuses we accept to pretend that's not what is happening are so pathetically paper thin, and the fact that people like Karpathy get to flaunt the fact that they obviously know better after the fact is a huge part of the problem
Ackman is going to make a tweet so long it takes down Twitter
I want Mamdani to win. Not because he's a commie train wreck (which he is), but it would be worth it just to see Ackman and other miscellaneous dildos lose their minds. When the best alternative you can field is Andrew "Busy Hands" Cuomo, you have a problem. 🍿🍿
