Trying to figure out how RBNY, w/ only 2 DPs and relatively few TAM-level signings, are heading into the winter with only $150k GAM to bring to 2026.

And it occurs to me it must be that the front office (ownership?) probably never switched to the 2/4/2 roster build model. Which... lots to unpack.

MLS announces updated GAM totals for all 30 teams after the roster freeze.

All remaining GAM will roll over to 2026.... a few teams (Minnesota United and San Diego FC in particular) set up with a ton of flexibility for the offseason already.

USOC and LC are also super tough, I feel.

USOC is PHI away, then NSH at home, then probably MIN in the finals, so 3-win streak needed.

LC has a system for everyone to play even-ish matchups, but even then RBNY plays Guadalajara & Monterrey, two CCC regulars. We might know our fate after 2 games!
