She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork in February 1944. She was murdered in a gas chamber after the arrival selection.

I think about this a lot. It’s not that books/paper can’t deteriorate or be damaged, but as a “media” they do not become unusable because technology has evolved to the next thing!
