Yes. The fascist politicians and billionaires who are currently ruining the country are massively mediocre thinkers and monumentally uncreative chumps. They have the advantage of a total lack of morals and a willingness to commit any crime imaginable. But they're losers and they will lose.
they are not brilliant.

the billionaires and institutions in this country are just more craven than we could have ever imagined, even in our most cynical imaginings.

(don't tell me you could imagine. I won't give you a medal.)

Pretty amazing.

While leading “Columbians for Academic Freedom,” Bari Weiss sought to get pro-Palestine Columbia professors fired.

While leading “The Free Press,” Weiss is spiking stories to cover for a president who’s sought to get pro-Palestine Columbia students deported.

Literally this. Anytime someone brings up this argument I want to chew on bricks lol
I could go on. My point is no one NEEDS to use it, & the argument that it's streamlining anything in the creative field is stupid. & I'm going to pre-empt the "AI's been in games for years" argument bc the code used to determine NPC behavior etc & generating concept are isn't the same thing

Why would you need to put a pause on a story that has been meticulously fact-checked and lawyered?

Sounds like the kind of story you’d want to run right away!

design docs need to be a clear explanation of intent and a source of truth devs can refer back to. asking the plagiarism machine to write them for you at any point in the process is a guaranteed way to confuse everyone involved
As the backlash to generative AI in video games continues to pick up steam heading into 2026, it'll be fascinating to see what is considered "made with generative AI." Can a dev team say they're not using AI if they're writing design docs with Copilot or using chatGPT to make schedules and budgets?
