There are a lot of obscene things about this story, but the fact that there is a GoFundMe for this baby rather than millions of dollars dedicated to his lifelong care by the state of Georgia is right up there at the top. The state forced this child to be born into a life of pain and procedures.

it’s genuinely hurtful the way some of y’all talk about people with alcohol and substance use disorders. these ghouls in DC will not hear your stigmatizing words, nor do they care. but chances are your neighbors and coworkers and friends in your local AA & NA groups have heard those words

2. That is not what Hawking radiation is.

As Kagan notes, SCOTUS has given states a cheat code to enact illegally racist voting laws: just pass them close enough to an election that the Purcell principle will bar judicial review!

Under this logic, courts couldn’t block actual Jim Crow laws within a year of an election. It can’t be right.

Not sure if your kids should get the HPV vaccine?

Think about your grand-kids. If your daughter or daughter-in-law has HPV on their cervix during delivery, the virus can enter the baby's airway & cause Recurrent Respiratory Papilomas, which is incurable. 🧵

ACIP may end universal Hep B vaccination today.

Hep B prevention is Cassidy's passion, as he made clear during RFK Jr's confirmation hearings.

But let's not forget... his vote to confirm RFK Jr. got us into this mess!

He needs to use every lever of power he has in the Senate to fix it.
