When Labour do/introduce something I think is positive I’m going to really talk it up. We can’t have Reform and the dreadful Tories leapfrogging over Labour FGS

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.

I am so confused by Reform UK voters.

Pro-Russia in every other poll, they are suddenly in favour of enforcing sanctions on Russia?? It's so inconsistent.

Meanwhile the Green voters are much more consistent in their pro-Russia stance.

Why the opposition?

From what I see, racism is one hell of a drug.

Then again, so is hubris.

So many people taking pride in their mere existence.

January 7th is National Old Rock Day! Well here is an old rock! These white circles are cross sections of Archaeocyathids. These were a type of sponge that built reefs during the Early Cambrian. This comes from the the Forteau Formation in southern Labrador, Canada. Over 516 million years old!

There are 340+ million people in the US. Seems like an easy problem to solve if people would just unite and start taking action.
America now has 935 billionaires with $8.1 trillion in collective wealth — a 20% increase from 2024.

Meanwhile, the bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 935 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.
