BF6 is my first major FPS in years and after a few years of 40K Darktide, the deep melee system and super crunchy ranged combat and enemy variety, I can't muster much interest any more for pointing recoilless M4A1s at a man until they fall over. I'm honestly impressed at how much reach GBBO has in the US, Flapjacks being chewy sweet oat traybakes in the UK has thrown so many Americans on here.

Prototype those mechanics with greybox assets, experiment hard and fail faster. Drop what doesn't work and above all keep it simple while you're learning.

The branching narrative alone can create a lot of systems complexity.

It is actually hard to find places that do traditional English or Scottish cooking unless you're willing to drive out a ways and find carveries and big pub/hotel type places that haven't been replaced by a KFC or a travelodge

UK has recently been crowding out a lot of the traditional pub dinners & locally owned restaurants w large franchise chains like wetherspoons, US imports like five guys, subway and loss-making taco Bells and what's left is coffee shops. Nobody's out ordering shepherd's pie or Sunday roasts as much
