If you’re a democratic leader and you don’t want to do the right thing because of personal backlash now is the time to step away. Because these jobs are about doing what is right and taking the fire. That’s the job.
I should add: Walz and his family are in an awful position. No one can know what it's like without living through it.

Everywhere ICE appears, local mayors and prosecutors have to stand up and fight. The Trump Regime says it will handle any investigation of ICE wrongdoing? The local leaders have to stand up and say "Fuck you. We're investigating, too. You won't stop us. And we'll issue indictments for any crimes."
Unless & until some local jurisdiction fully investigates one of these rogue, murderous ICE agents, this will continue. Criminals like these will keep killing people until there's a price to pay for doing so.
