“This reflects a flagrant disregard for fundamental rights and freedoms, and a cavalier attitude which is shocking to Albertans and to Canadians.”

Danielle Smith once claimed her "mission in public life" was to defend the fundamental rights and freedoms, and that they "cannot be taken away from us by government".

But now she's the one who has taken away fundamental rights and freedoms from Albertans.

But not impossible.

Here’s a running list since Danielle Smith became premier. 🧵👇

It never ends
11/11 Critics question if a negligent administration awarded public dollars to foreign nationals due to its own incompetence and refusal to use Alberta laws.

Now, taxpayers must wait to see what settlements are awarded to the remaining firms.

🚨Attention Albertans🚨 At the same time as Premier Smith has outlawed teachers' right to strike for more resources, her government is also planning to use $60 BILLION+ of public/taxpayer money to let oil & gas companies walk away from paying their cleanup bills. #ABLeg #ABPoli www.cleanupyourmess.ca

Utter contempt and disrespect from Bruce McAllister.

Cutting off the kid's mic and limiting his freedom of expression is one thing, but saying he should be spanked is a fireable offense from a supposedly neutral moderator. Bruce needs to be removed immediately.
At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…

Telling.

I expect Danielle Smith will "pull a Ford" and call an early election to get a "mandate" from the people. There is NO opposition in Alberta right now. The NDP are in total disarray, and the the two independent MLAs haven't had time to organize themselves. #ABNDP get your sh!t together.
