I agree with this. However, I think that to call listening to an e-book "reading" is misleading. I want a different word for that.
People who dismiss e-books or audiobooks as being somehow less worthy or less meaningful than physical books are missing the point of books. Books are not ink and paper, just as human beings are not defined by their physicality. Books are connections; emotions; ideas; just like their creators.

I once saw a picture of some idiot standing on one of the exposed masts and that caused me to cringe right down to the subatomic level. Scary that nothing has been done about that wreck after all these years!
