It's uncanny how Cuomo has been laser-focused at appealing to the absolute worst qualities in people - their insularity, their tribalism, and now their fear. A campaign monumental in its cynicism, a colossal bet by this man and his billionaire backers that people are basically bad.

Happy Halloween from this terrifying display in the break room.

A purple sparkly spider (or spider-like creature? It has one spherical body segment and six legs maybe?) It’s standing on a black web on the countertop. Lying in the middle of the web, beneath the creature like it’s prey that it has caught, is a skeleton, with some limbs missing, like the creature has already picked the flesh clean, but it’s still hungry. It’s looking up at the viewer, like it’s wondering if they are next.
