I am amazed that any country would agree to a "deal" of any type with Trump since he routinely breaks any agreement he signs.

He just reached a "great trade deal" with Europe before announcing that he is breaking that trade deal to impose more tariffs.

So basically Trump’s argument is that he only bothered talking about how much he supposedly wanted peace and performed substance-free publicity stunts to win a prize, but since that didn’t fool anyone he’s not going to bother with that charade anymore and will just invade Europe.

Donald Trump could be naked, yelling at cars on the freeway, and Republicans would still be all "Democrats have just never witnessed a genius at work".

Pew Research Institute (2023):

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

A more realistic dynamic than a coordinated action by EU and/or Brazil, China, India etc is just general departure of global investors out of an American bond and equities markets that come to be viewed as too unstable to be worth the risks.

America finally achieves emerging market status
The latest twist in The Apprentice: American Carnage has triggered talk that Europe could “weaponise” its nearly $13tn holdings of US assets.

But how credible is that threat, really? www.ft.com/content/beea...
Could Europe really leverage its $12.6tn pile of US assets?

Starmer sticks to his strategy - avoid provoking Trump.

No, Starmer is being too weak. Trump only understands one thing.

Ran across a letter I sent to my cast from over 8 years ago about what they could expect if we didn't fight tooth and nail to stop Trump. It's chilling in its forecasting of where we are literally today... (they didn't seem to care at the time-- actors, amirite? 🤷🏽‍♂️)

I think the White House badly underestimates the strength of the pan-European folk memory of 1930s appeasement, and how deep it still cuts. I suppose this is what happens when you learn in school that WW2 started in 1941 in Hawaii.

JD Vance says fewer undocumented immigrants means Americans can finally afford homes.

So which is it?

They “don’t work” and “live on welfare” — or they’re somehow buying up all the houses?

Pick a lie.
