Our culture has such a reliance on art, mixed with so much disdain for artists' lives. Someone throws soup at a painting in a gallery or whatever and everyone acts like it's a literal murder, but that level of sympathy is for the object, almost never for the living conditions of artists.

by the way, now that it's all out (concerning Hiveworks), I can let you know that the reason the GGaR books haven't been up for sale for +6 months is because of Hiveworks' mismanagement :D

If ever there is a lesson to learn about artists you find out being absolute monsters to other people, and your first reaction is to feel conflicted because you 'liked their work', I deeply suggest avoiding putting ANYONE atop a pedastal. Yes, that means your favourite artist.
