One thing I've always been fond of is our windows.
Having contiguous exterior\interior spaces was important to us- but early on we realized interiors needed different ambient light from the exterior to feel properly cozy

In the span of weeks, I've gone from someone who has never used Godot, to struggling to "get" Godot, to really liking Godot, to having taught aspiring gamedevs the basics of Godot, to strongly believing Godot's workflow & structure might be the best approach to developing games for many purposes.

so much of learning is encouragement, but social media — outside of exceptionally accepting communities — rarely presents people with opportunities to fail sans consequences. so instead everyone acts like they know what they’re talking about even when they don’t, and we’re all dumber for it

You shouldn't be planning international travel to attend GDC just as a matter of who even knows if the US will have functioning air traffic control in March, but also even if you personally feel "safe" traveling across borders into the US: honestly at this point it signals a lack of solidarity.
